Etsy Revival

I used to make beaded jewelry which I had on Etsy in years past. I'm back in the saddle again, now with my paintings! Have a look:

HAPPY MOO YEAR!

This bovine sweetie marks my 64th painting completed this year, shattering my 2015 record of 58. I've learned so much and made a lot of cool art friends along the way. This week, I've applied to some ambitious new shows for 2017 and am very excited to see what they will bring. Thank you to the folks who have supported me! I hope you all have a marvelous new year!

Last show of 2016

This Sunday, November 13th, I'll be at Harvest of the Artist at the Key School in Annapolis. It sounds like it will be a lovely afternoon and a perfect opportunity to find some special handmade gifts!

If you are hoping to commission a painting for a holiday gift this year, please let me know ASAP as the cutoff date will be Wednesday, November 16th.

Fall Updates

I have one more Annapolis First Sunday Arts Festival in 2016- this Sunday, October 2nd. The show runs 11-5:00 and I'm hoping as ever for pleasant weather. My schedule singing with he Baltimore Choral Arts Society is already starting to get heavy, so if you are contemplating a commissioned painting as a holiday gift, please consider contacting me soon.

I've been put on the waiting list for Bazaart, the show at the Visionary Art Museum that went so well last year. I don't really expect to get in at this point so I applied to two other juried shows with fall dates. I will learn in October whether I've been accepted into any of those three for sure.

One of my latest, a commission of a friend's great grandmother's home.

Ellicott City Flood Relief

On July 30, the beautiful historic district of Ellicott City was struck by a catastrophic flood. I created this painting in the hopes of generating funds for the Ellicott City Partnership to go toward the rebuilding of these wonderful homes and businesses. Please consider helping if you can.

The original is up for auction here on EBay. half of the proceeds will be donated to the EC Partnership. The auction ends Sunday night 8/28/16.

I have also had 8x10 inch prints made which can be purchased here in my shop. $10 from each of those sales will be donated to the EC Partnership.

Lastly, I had blank notecards made. These are available in sets of six here in my shop and would make excellent holiday cards. $5 will be donated to the EC Partnership with the purchase of each set of cards.
